I am a mixed media artist, designer, and cartographer.

I hold a degree in Geography and have a diverse background in creating and analyzing maps in the corporate, environmental and design industries in both paper and digital..

I am trained in intuitive art expression and certified in color symbology.

I am driven to study, love, live in, protect, and admire nature. Trees and flowers are my muse.

I create from a place of holistic intention and connection.

I am a fitness professional, wellness coach and energy practitioner.

I love movement, balance and strength in my life. I draw from and into this in both my art and my fitness practice.

Mindy S. Katz is an artist and map designer creating under the studio name True North Studio LLC. Mindy creatively blends her diverse skills in paint, sketch, cartography, graphic art, geography and geology with a natural eye for harmony and affinity for the whimsical. She draws her inspiration from nature, the earth, trees, crystals, and a connection to body mind and spirit.
